Small Groups and Bible Studies

Our Small Groups and Bible studies are designed to help you become fully alive in Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to build deep, life-giving relationships with other brothers and sisters by gathering to study God’s Word.  Sharing our experiences out loud with one another is a great way to give and find encouragement and accountability as we strive to cling to the promises of God in His Word and to grow in Christ-likeness.

We currently have five on-going small groups in the Saxonburg/Sarver area that meet in homes during the week, each with 6-10 people.  We always have an empty seat or two, and would love to help you dive into regular and ongoing koinonia with other folks at Alive.  Our Thursday night group is for men only, but other groups are open to anybody and everybody.

Throughout the year, members of our staff and leadership team will lead Bible studies that focus on various topics that help us grow in Christ-likeness.  These are announced in advance, and are sometimes targeted to a specific demographic.  They are usually 6-8 weeks in duration.

If you’d like to join a small group or participate in a Bible study, please contact Pastor Dave at daveroddy@alivecc.com.

At ALIVE! Community Church, we believe that people are created for rich, life-giving relationships with other people where encouragement and accountability can happen. We also believe that consistent and regular study of God’s Word along with solid Christian resources are important in transforming our minds and hearts as we seek to become like Jesus.

We nurture these relationships and provide opportunities for growth through seasonal and short-term Bible Studies. We know that people are busy, and so we provide opportunities for these groups to meet for 6 to 10 weeks at a time. We have regular Bible Study groups for men and women, and also provide studies open to everyone with different topics and interests from time to time.
