Prayer Team

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7

At Alive, we strive to be surrendered to God in prayer. And we strive to be a church that joyfully lifts others before the throne of grace in prayer. We see Philippians 4:6-7 as a privilege and not as a burden, and so do those who participate in our prayer ministry at Alive. It is our great joy to lay our concerns and the concerns of others at the feet of our sovereign and merciful God. Do you have a prayer need for yourself or a prayer concern about another person? Are you anxious and not sure what to pray for? Our Prayer Team would love to partner with you in expectant prayer as you wait and watch for God to work.

On Sunday mornings, we have boards in our worship area where you can share prayer needs and praises. A member of our staff or leadership team is always available to pray with or for you if you desire. And throughout the week, some of our staff and leadership team members lift these concerns before God.

During the week, if you have a prayer need or concern, you can share those with our Prayer Chain coordinator and Deacon Marsha Nulph. You can send these requests to mnulph@consolidated.net and she will share these with the Prayer Chain. You can also contact Marsha if you’d like to be added to the Prayer Chain.
