“. . . . encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone . . . always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.”
1 Thessalonians 5:14-15
We believe that living out the instruction of 1 Thessalonians 5:14-15 is part of our privilege as followers of Jesus Christ. In the life of any church there are always some who are disheartened or weak, whether it be physically or spiritually. Our Care Team strives to make it a priority to bring encouragement, help, and patience to our brothers and sisters in need, particularly those who are not able to participate in the life of our church for extended periods of time.
If you desire for a member of our Care Team to visit you or another person – whether it’s to pray, just to talk, or to experience some Christ-like companionship – we would love to do that. You can contact Deacon Angie Gillis at gillis6599@yahoo.com or Deacon Marsha Nulph at mnulph@consolidated.net for needs that our Care Team might be able to meet.
