Serving others is one of our highest privileges as followers of Jesus Christ. A church on a mission to help people come fully alive in Jesus Christ needs a team of people with unique love for others, talents, and interests. And when you’re ready to serve, we would love to help you live out the joy and privilege of serving others through one of our ministry teams.
We understand that not everybody is ready to serve the minute they walk in our doors. Some people need some time to learn what it means to follow Jesus. Some may need a breather from serving at their previous church or a time to heal and be served. Some may not be sure how or where to serve. But we encourage everybody to serve somebody!
At Alive, there are tiers to serving. In some areas, anybody can serve. In other areas, you will need to complete our Mission and Ministry Partners Class (offered several times a year), meet some spiritual and character qualifications, and be in agreement with the core principles that guide Alive.

Welcome and Hospitality Team
One of the things people love about walking into Alive on Sunday morning is the smell of fresh coffee and the sight of some amazing treats! If you’d like to be part of the team who prepares, makes, and serves the goods, please contact Mary Smock at mls298bcr@gmail.com.
Property Team
A nearly 50 year old building means that we need a team of folks who are committed to helping keep our building and property in good shape. Are you good at fixing stuff and working with your hands? Do you like to cut grass or work outside? Contact Deacon Mark Hack at mcons@zoominternet.net.
Cleaning Team
Since we’re a church that welcomes folks to come as you are, sometimes it takes a little extra effort to clean up after Sunday mornings and a lot of effort a couple times a month to clean thoroughly. We can use individuals who can come at their own convenience during the week to empty trash, give some areas a quick cleaning, and do some light vacuuming. We can also use some folks on this team who like to make things sparkle and shine. If this sounds like the team for you, please contact Deacon Marsha Nulph at mnulph@consolidated.net.
Prayer Team
Anybody can pray! Everybody should pray! Do you have a gift and desire to intercede on behalf of others through our Prayer Chain? If you do, you can contact Deacon Marsha Nulph at mnulph@consolidated.net to be added to the Prayer Chain.
OTHER WAYS TO SERVE
Serving in each of these areas require different levels of spiritual maturity and agreement with some of our core beliefs, as well as completion of the Alive Mission and Ministry Partners Class.
