At Alive! our desire for our Kid’s ministry is for kids to know and love Jesus and know how much He loves them! We want them to know all that God has done for them, have an understanding of the Bible and a relationship with Him. We want these kiddos to love Jesus, experience Him in their lives and know His Word. Prov. 22:6 tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” We want the kids at ALIVE to be excited to learn about Jesus’ in a fun way that will have an everlasting impact in their lives.

When you join us for worship on Sunday mornings, we want you to know that your kids will be cared for, loved and instructed in God’s Word by caring adults and teen helpers who are committed to helping your kids have an awesome experience. Check out below to see what we are currently doing in our kid areas.

In our nursery your infant to preschool aged child will learn a new story each month. We do monthly themes so that the kiddos have a good understanding and memory of  that part of God’s word. We have sensory activities, snacks and crafts each week that match what your little ones are learning.

This month we are learning about how Hannah prayed for a baby.

We are learning the story of Hannah praying for a child and trusting God.

Our sensory activities this month we will be giving our babies baths, feeding babies and other pretend play with babies.

Your little ones will also be bringing home a craft each week.

In Alive KIDS! Our current Series is called:

Playlist: Put love in the mix

What’s on your playlist? Do you like hip-hop? Country? Or are you more into
classic rock, you know, like from the ‘90s—How is that over 20 years ago?!
All kidding aside, we love music because it can convey the things that are hardest
for us to express. The right song, at the right time can say everything you need too.

As followers of Jesus, we can show love with more than just words. We can
show love with our actions, when we choose to treat others the way we want to be
treated. After all, isn’t that what Jesus said is most important? Loving God, and
loving others.

Our memory verse for this month is:

1 John 4:10…Here is what love is. It is not that we loved God.

It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins.
