Dave Roddy

Senior Pastor

Dave is the Founding and Senior Pastor of ALIVE! Community Church. Dave has been active in ministry since his senior year of high school in 1993. Prior to founding ALIVE! Dave had worked in Youth Ministry for 13 years in churches in Western PA; Durham, NC and Lexington, KY.

Pastor Dave loves to communicate the truth of God’s Word with humor, transparency and authenticity. He has a passion to see people experience the abundant life that Jesus promises to those who trust in Him is their Lord and Savior; as well as a burning desire to see the Church unleash its potential to change the world.

Pastor Dave and his wife Jessie live near Saxonburg, with their three kids Anna, Isaac and Andrew. They’ve got a couple of dogs, and have a barn cat from time to time. In his spare time, Pastor Dave feeds his addictions of Steelers football, waterfowl hunting, and fishing for steelhead trout in the tributaries of Lake Erie.

Pastor Dave is a 1997 graduate of Pitt-Greensburg with a B.S. in Natural Sciences and a 2001 graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY with an M.Div.

Nate & Nicole Davies

Nate - Worship Leader & Leadership Team Nicole - Women's Ministry & Hospitality

Nate is the worship leader at ALIVE! He has been leading worship since high school and has been involved in many music ministries in both high school and in college. Nate graduated from Geneva College in the spring of 2009 and has been leading worship at ALIVE! since it’s start later that year.

Nicole coordinates our Women's Ministry, leads our Hospitality Ministry, & coordinates fundraising for various mission projects.

Nate and Nicole live outside of Saxonburg with their two boys, Micah and Eli.

Shelly Hack

Administrative Assistant

Shelly joined the leadership team at Alive in the fall of 2021. After graduating with a degree in Criminology from IUP, she spent many years working with teens in the social service field followed by her work in youth ministry. Shelly’s gifts of administration & hospitality are a good fit as Administrative Assistant at Alive Community Church. Her hobbies include baking, cooking, camping, walking, & spending time with family & friends. She is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ. She and her husband, Mark, are blessed with three children, Luke, Gabe, and Miranda. They make their home in Cabot, PA.

Andy Presutti

Youth Director

Andy is our Youth Director at ALIVE! Born and raised in Springdale, PA, Andy takes every opportunity to share the good news of the gospel. His life verse comes from Colossians 3:17: And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Andy represents the Lord in many capacities at Alive such as teaching Sunday School and playing guitar for the worship team. In his spare time, he is always on the move, Go Kart racing, sharpening his Tang Soo Do skills, skateboarding, and building race cars. Andy, his wife, Megan, and his son, Ryder, make their home in Sarver, PA.

Angie Gillis

Leadership Team Member

Angie Gillis is a member of Alive’s leadership team and she is a 3rd grade teacher at Penn Christian Academy. She loves serving others through encouragement and prayer. In her spare time, she loves reading, swimming, and camping. Angie lives in South Butler with her husband, Jason, and their 3 sons, Dathan, Riley, and Owen.
